Eddie Bauer Car Seats

Eddie Bauer is well known for its comfortable clothing and outdoor gear. However, in recent years, the company has become even better known by parents for its car seats.
Eddie Bauer car seats are popular, but to help you make the choice for your car seats, here is what some parents say about them.
Eddie Bauer 22625 Infant Car Seat
This infant car seat is like others in the same style class in that it consists of an infant carrier that locks securely into a base that is seatbelted and LATCHed into the car. The reviews on it are mixed.
Pros listed by parents include durability, good safety features, high comfort, and a large canopy to screen the baby from the sun.
Cons include difficult strap adjustment in comparison to other brands, heavy weight, and difficulty snapping it into its base. There are a broad range of opinions regarding this seat, and it receives anywhere from three to five stars from different families.
Eddie Bauer 22862- Summit Booster Car Seat
The Summit receives good reviews from parents and is one of the popular Eddie Bauer car seats. A booster seat is used for older children when they outgrow their toddler safety seat, but they are not yet big enough (either by law or by nature of their stature) to sit in the car without a child seat.
The Summit is liked by both parents and their children. Kids find it comfortable, and parents like the fabric, its high stance, and the durability.
Cons listed by parents in online reviews include straps that can be hard to tighten and sometimes twist, a wide seat base that encroaches on others’ space, and a cup holder that can be difficult for the kids to reach.
Eddie Bauer 22859 – Ashford Booster Car Seat
Another of Eddie Bauer’s booster seats, the Ashford, is also a popular choice. Ratings range from one star to five stars.
The one star ratings complain of damage from the car seat to their cars’ leather upholstery, and difficulty tightening the seat. Pros listed are similar to other Eddie Bauer car seats and include comfort and durability.
I Bought Eddie Bauer Car Seat in 2009 for my older daughter. The seat belt was too hard to buckle. When I used just car strap, my daughter was able to come out from the seat belt. That time I stop using Eddie Bauer car seat and borrow seat (Greco) from my sister which was easy to install and was very comfortable for her and it can recline for long trips for easier and more comfortable sleeping! I love the car seat…I had to return her back because she had another baby. Now I try to use this car (Eddie Bauer) seat for my 2dn daughter same problem, it is too tight for her…Even it says kids up 3 yrs can use this car seat ..My daughter is only 18 month and I’m unable to use the car seat. It is very expansive feel like I wasted my money…
